SUCCESSFUL OPEN HOUSE AT H+H IN BIELEFELD

Bielefeld, 20.10.2023 - After a five-year break, H+H GmbH & Co. KG in Bielefeld opened its doors again for an open day in mid-October. The world has not stood still in these five years. A lot has also happened at H+H.  As part of the MBO Group, which has belonged to the Japanese Komori Group for three years, H+H has made a very good name for itself worldwide in this important niche with more than six decades of experience in the demanding field of micro and special seams. Nevertheless, H+H has streamlined its machine portfolio in order to proactively counter the ongoing consolidation of the print media market. The range currently comprises three buckle plate folding machines. The H+H machines are characterized by high precision, speed and flexibility and are used wherever packaging is filled with information and/or product inserts, usually printed products on thin paper. All machines can be adapted to customer requirements in their respective configurations. They were presented in action to customers and representatives in Bielefeld in October.

A joint project with the Fraunhofer Institute for the development of intuitive machine operator guidance was also presented. A topic that is becoming increasingly important in times when experienced bookbinders are hard to find. Simplified system operation expands the circle of suitable personnel for machine operation.

For three days, the experienced H+H bookbinding experts were available to answer visitors' questions and engage in a lively exchange about changing tasks and the most suitable solutions for difficult processing requirements.

The success of the open day proves that the current H+H product portfolio is meeting with great interest and that the solutions on offer meet the needs of customers. H+H was very pleased with the positive response from visitors. The company is optimistic about the coming financial year and the eagerly awaited industry event Drupa 24. At Drupa, H+H will be represented at the joint stand of The Postpress Alliance (TPA) in Hall 15.
