Outserts are pharmaceutical instruction sheets, which will be
enclosed to medications. By multiple folds, the unfolded
formats will be folded to small final sizes. Because of the
relatively high thickness of the products, the cross-folds occur
by a parallel knife. Afterwards, the closing of the Outserts
happens by a label or by glue. Light weight paper of approx.
40 g/m² are the basis for these products to realize this number
of folds. A profitable market, which requires high quality standards.

Inserts are leaflets for the pharmaceutical industry, which will
be applied to the medical cardborad boxes. Short folding
lenghts realize a small final format of the inserts and
multiple folding allows a production and folding of large
unfolded paper sheets. Also for the cosmetic business,
the inserts will be packed by as instruction leaflets.
Very similar products are booklet labels, which were
folded in multiple ups to small final formats. The ups will
be punched on the labelling machine in single ups.

Lottery tickets are the typical miniature folding products, because
they lie well in hand. Generally, this requires a miniature folding
machine to achieve the short folding lenghts. Multiple roll-folds in
combination with lateral gluing result in label closure. Additionally
the sides will be crimped. This is a mechanical method for bonding
the layers which supports the safeness and the access to the lottery
ticket content. Because of just using parallel folds, it will be folded
and delivered in multiple up.

There is a large area of miniature folding. Small information
carriers are to be found anywhere. If stuck to clothes, inside
cigarette packets, etc. From simple four-paged booklet up to
multiple-paged mini-booklets as for e.g. booklet-labels. Many
special products on the market require short folding lengths.
Up to 18 mm can be achieved with the KL112.1, which can be
equipped with up to 16 folding pockets. Additional knife folding
units for the miniature folding section does not leaves nothing
to desire.
