Change in Management – Christian Gohlke succeeds Berthold Zinth

Berthold Zinth, who has been a member of the management team of the MBO Group since June 2018, most recently as Managing Director, will leave the company on 31 May 2022. The decision was his own. Berthold Zinth emphasises: “I have always enjoyed the wide variety of work at MBO. I was very happy to be involved in the growth of the company. However, I would like to focus on my family in the future and will pursue new professional paths”.

Berthold Zinth played an important role in the optimisation of processes and restructuring in manufacturing, installation, purchasing and logistics at the MBO Group locations in Oppenweiler, Bielefeld and Portugal. He also actively supported the sale of the MBO Group to KOMORI Corp. in 2019 and made a positive contribution to the consolidation of both companies until the end. Thomas Heininger, CEO of the MBO Group: “On behalf of management and the entire MBO team, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Mr. Zinth for the extraordinary dedication he has shown to the company. He has made a significant contribution to the development of the group. I am extremely sorry to see him leave and wish him continued success and all the best in his personal life”.

Christian Gohlke, who returned to the company on 1 April 2022, will take over Berthold Zinth’s business matters. Mr Gohlke is already familiar with the MBO Group from his previous responsibilities as CFO and Commercial Director, a position he held between March 2017 and September 2019. Mr Gohlke will mainly be responsible for optimising internal processes throughout the MBO Group. Christian Gohlke comments: “I am pleased to be able to actively shape the transformation that is being driven by processes such as digitalisation, among other things. We still have a lot to do.”
